Wow, here it is another year gone by and we’re gearing up for TLC@Home 2019! This year we are planning to touch the lives of approximately 1000 children in our inner-city schools. For many of them, this is the best day of the year!
2019 TLC@Home Campaign
As you can imagine, It is a lot of work to make this all happen, but when we call the children by name and hand them their box of treasures we are rewarded with hugs and smiles. These rewards are what makes it all worthwhile.

It takes many hands, hearts and dollars to make this all happen… it takes a community. One of our sponsors from last year enjoyed it so much they have come back this year to help us touch the lives of children right here at home. West Portal Church kicked off this year off with a BBQ fundraiser after a recent Sunday morning service. What a great way to start!
“We collect all year long, but really push hard in the fall as we deliver the gift boxes the end of November or beginning of December. “What do you need?” you might ask. That is a wonderful question and one we wish more people would ask because the more people give, the more children we are able to bring joy to. ” Shelley James, TL@Home co-founder
